STEPHANIE COLLINS

Speech Pathologist | Director

Steph obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2019. She is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and is the Principal Speech Pathologist at Orchard Therapy.

Steph has experience working with individuals of all ages with a range of communication needs. She is particularly interested in practice areas that impact the preschool-aged population.

Steph believes in a holistic approach to therapy, encouraging collaboration with the child’s carers, teachers, support workers, and other therapists to achieve the child’s goals. Her sessions are child-led and meaningful, with accommodations made to meet each client’s needs

Outside work, Steph enjoys travel and exploring new places and spending time with family and friends.

Steph has undertaken additional professional development in a range of speech therapy approaches, including;

  • Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk”
  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) (Level 1)
  • Alison Bryan’s Introduction to Colourful Semantics
  • Little Learners Love Literacy

SARAH TREASE

Speech Pathologist

Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Bendigo in 2023. She is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and a valued member of the Orchard Therapy team.

Sarah has experience supporting children with a range of communication goals, including speech sound production, language development, fluency / stuttering, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Sarah enjoys collaborating closely with family members, carers, educators, and other therapists to develop personalised therapy plans that meet each child’s specific needs. Her therapy sessions are client-led and motivating, which fosters enjoyment, growth and empowerment.

In her spare time Sarah loves to bake, play sport and read. She also values quality time spent with friends, family and her Golden Retriever, Moose.

Sarah has undertaken additional professional development in a range of speech therapy approaches, including:

  • The Lidcombe Program (Stuttering Intervention)
  • The Hanen Centre “It Takes Two to Talk” Program
