STEPHANIE COLLINS

Speech Pathologist | Director

Steph obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2019. She holds a Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Status with Speech Pathology Australia and is the Principal Speech Pathologist at Orchard Therapy.

Steph has experience working with individuals of all ages with a range of communication needs. She is particularly interested in practice areas that impact the preschool-aged population.

Steph believes in a holistic approach to therapy, encouraging collaboration with the child’s carers, teachers, support workers, and other therapists to achieve the child’s goals. Her sessions are child-led and meaningful, with accommodations made to meet each client’s needs

Outside work, Steph enjoys travel and exploring new places and spending time with family and friends.

Steph has undertaken additional professional development in a range of speech therapy approaches, including;

  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) (Level 1)
  • Alison Bryan’s Introduction to Colourful Semantics
  • Little Learners Love Literacy
